Mr. Jesse Lindenstein

Dean of Students

Athletic Director

  • I currently serve as the Athletic Director, Dean of Students,  and Physical Education teacher at Kootenai Classical Academy. I have over 24 years of experience in athletics, coaching, strength and conditioning, and student wellness. Throughout my career, I've worked with athletes at every level, from Olympians to elementary school students, and have coached or been part of teams that have won national and state championships.

Previously, I served as Director of Sports Performance and Wellness at Menlo School and worked with the College of San Mateo football program. I am a founding member of the National High School Strength and Conditioning Association (NHSSCA) and a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). I earned my degree in Kinesiology from San Jose State University.

What I enjoy most about KCA is helping build an athletic program from the ground up. I believe athletics teach discipline, accountability, teamwork, and resilience. Watching students develop confidence, overcome challenges, and reach their potential is incredibly rewarding.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my kids compete in sports, strength training, and staying active.
